Developing low-cost electrocatalysts with outstanding electrochemical performance over a wide pH range is urgently desired to meet the practical needs in large scale hydrogen production.
Our group focused on the design and fabrication of wide range of transition metals, carbon nanomaterials and carbon-based core-shell heterostructures for hydrogen evolution reaction. The basic idea is to anchor active sites without alter the inherent electronic state of base catalyst.
